Mary F. Fetsco
Mary is experienced in various facets of intellectual property law, including patent and trademark litigation, as well as patent prosecution.
Prior to attending law school, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from Michigan State University, with a minor in business. During her studies, Mary worked with Motorola, Inc. to develop innovative mobile technology for integration with cable television and video-on-demand services.
In 2013, she received her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. While working in DePaul College of Law’s Legal Writing Department as a teaching assistant, she supported and motivated students in developing and applying proper legal writing and communication techniques. She continues to encourage future generations of lawyers by regularly speaking to law students interested in pursuing careers in intellectual property law.
After graduation from law school and prior to joining Miller, Matthias & Hull LLP, Mary worked for an intellectual property boutique in Chicago for several years. Significant experience in both trademark and patent litigation enables Mary to bring a unique perspective to her practice, which focuses primarily on patent prosecution and opinions on patent infringement, validity and patentability.
She is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
