Jennifer L. Holmes
While attending law school, Jenny worked as a patent agent at a large corporation in Research Triangle Park, N.C. where she focused primarily in the area of agricultural biotechnology.
Upon graduation from law school in 2001, Jenny began practicing as a patent attorney in Chicago, Illinois. Her practice primarily involves patent prosecution and opinion matters in both the biotechnology and mechanical arts. Jenny also has patent litigation and interference experience.
A southerner, Jenny received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina in 2001. Prior to attending law school, Jennifer received her M.S. in biochemistry and molecular biology from the Medical University of South Carolina. Her graduate research focuses specifically on the environmentally stimulated signal transduction pathway involving the Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor (AHR) and Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Nuclear Translocator (ARNT) proteins. Jennifer received her B.S. in biology in 1995 from the East Carolina University.
Jenny is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
